I get a “temporarily unavailable” message. What now?

It can happen that you get a temporarily unavailable message on your screen when trying to log in.

You get this message when your computer has lost connection to the internet or when we are updating our software.

In the latter case, it is best to wait a few minutes and then try to log in again. Please note that updates usually take place during evenings and weekends to avoid disrupting people’s access to BriefBuilder during business hours.

In rare instances, it can be your VPN connection that is causing the trouble. It can be that your VPN is not accepting BriefBuilder’s certificates. In that case, you have to ask your system administrator to whitelist our domains:

  • api-app.briefbuilder.com
  • app.briefbuilder.com

And if that doesn’t work, contact our help desk.
